Media is a strong representation of how we as individuals or society view current events and other concepts. For many, this can be seen in history, particularly in the United States during the great depression. The government funded a project that involved photographers. These would come to be known as FSA Photographs. The  Farm Security Administration (FSA) had hired a few photographers, including Dorthea Lange, a photographer who we will be covering in this lesson. Here is a website and video on Dorthea Lange, read through it and write a paragraph on what you have learned.

You can also rent the video from youtube if you would like to watch the full documentary.
