  1. Take a regular deck of cards and remove all dressed cards (Jacks, Ladies and Kings). Ace = 1.
  2. Divide so you get half the deck each and place the pile in front of you with the numbers down.
  3. Start. Place each card at the same time on the table, eg 7 and 9. Whoever first says what 7x9 becomes, gets pair. If you say the answer at the same time you get one card each.
  4. The winner is the one who gets the most pairs when the piles is over. 

Could have a small competition in the classroom with groups, semifinals and finals. Could have a special focus area each lesson. Could have silent study first half of lesson and then have this gamified approach last half.
