How to Make a Good Argument:
Start with something you both agree on. Example: "We both know that exercise is good for your health."
Use that to support your opinion. Example: "That’s why I think we should have longer gym classes in school."

Show the connection clearly
"If exercise is healthy, then having more of it at school will help students feel better and do better in class."

This is called reasoning: You take a shared truth and use it to build your case. It makes your argument stronger because the other person already agrees with the first part!
